Sonic hot takes

For number 1 I played the game before and I found no problems with it and cutscenes are kinda entertaining like the one time Sonic got whooped by Infinite with the music some are the best
For Number 5 Sonic CD some like Stardust Speedway and Palmtree Panic are pretty good and Forces some music like Fist Bump, Infinite and Ghost Town are good but Fist Bump and Infinite are hella fire and I think the boss music is better than the actual level music imo 

I changed my mind for number one, two and five
1. Sonic Forces is number 5
2. Sonic Mania Stardust Speedway is the best zone in the game
5. Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Mania have the best soundtracks

Note: I never really heard some songs that are part of the Sonic CD soundtrack 

yeah I am talking about the american version but the japan version it might have some good songs but the boss start up music creeps me out

1. Generations is an alright game at best: it fails to replicate the feeling of a majority of its stages with few actually being fun on their own. modern sonic shouldn't have 2d sections it ruins the flow of the level and makes the stage feel borning.

2. Sonic Cd exploration is actually fun it just needed a proper save system so that you could explore and speedrun the stages, + the only true bad stage is stardust speedway, the only good pallate is the bad future, but even so the metal sonic boss fight is one of the worst boss fights and feels less like a race and more like the game constantly telling you to slow down the moment you gain any kind of speed

3. all classic characters should be able to use the peel-out not just sonic 

4. Ray has one of the best movesets that when used properly can both do what tails and knuckles can do with ease.

5. I think sonic being the only character to go super is a good thing, the only other character who should be able to go super is knuckles.

6. Shadow the hedgehog only has edgy dialogue, but the gameplay and gunplay itself is very tame

8. Knuckles Chaotix is actually a very fun game, people just hate the gimmick: it has a diverse set of characters each with unique abilities, sprites, and gameplay, My only complaint is the nerfed Spindash

Fleetway Sonic is one of the the best versions of the character. He is just a victim of the internet finding stuff out of context funny.

Honestly I agree to all of these to some extent

Sonic Forces to me has been a pretty solid game personally, one of my guiltiest pleasures actually. The only issues I have about it are rushed story, pacing, and overall the game not being very well fleshed out

Press Garden is up there, but I wouldn't say its better than Seaside Hill or Westopolis even

Sonic 4 Episode 2 is a banger of a game for just bite sized Sonic content, if it came out as Sonic Advance 1 on the GBA with the pixel art and GBA sound chip it would be probably one of the best Sonic games

CD's music whether its US or JP has been good, but US isn't my cup of tea personally

I agree with Forces and CD, but I'd argue that SA2, SA1, Shadow, 06, Chaotix, S3&K, Gens, etc. all have better soundtracks than Frontiers and Mania in my personal opinion

Sonic Mania overall fails to capture the Classic Trilogy's (1, 2, 3&K's) magic

-Almost all of the levels are reused, and some of the zones that are remastered don't really deserve to be (Chemical Plant [arguably], Green Hill)
-The new remastered zone list is just 2 CD zones, 1 Sonic 2 zone, and the rest is Sonic 3, there should've been better Sonic 1 and 2 representation
-Better choices for Oil Ocean, Green Hill, or one of the one too many S3&K zones really could be Emerald Hill, Hill Top, Tidal Tempest, AIZ, Palmtree Panic, Starlight Zone, and the list goes on
-Looks for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are derivative and kind of boring and the color choices for Knuckles and Sonic are questionable
