Sonic Mania just doesn't have enough to come back to. Agreed, Mania is really only fun with Mods once it's been beaten. |

Sonic Mania is a very lazy game  mania kind of. sucks. it was just sort of a rushed-ish game to pump something out for the year. |

Sonic Mania is a very lazy game To be honest, some of the level design is worse than CD and I ran out of time on a few levels on my first playthrough. |

I don't have a lot of experience with colors or unleashed but generation is for sure a good game I only started playing it a year ago and I find it very enjoyable i've played mainly unleashed and gens, but gens' only enjoyable portions were the classic portions. Unleashed and the Modern portions in gens just felt... sluggish, which is a universal issue across the games since sonic starts so slow and controls like ass, to me at least Interesting that you say that. I honestly thought classic sonic was more sluggish than modern sonic. |

He's still sluggish, don't get me wrong, but I think in a 2D plane the sluggish feel is less prominent, and due to how broken the spindash is there, it feels less prominent. Modern has no spindash and his control scheme is just... meh. |

I love mania and think the entire game is very fun. kinda shocks me with the hate I've been seeing lately lol. I think it's the "Sonic Cycle" up to its tricks again. People start to pile negatively on a Sonic game from previous years, and Mania is going through it. Bet to you Frontiers will in a few years or maybe even its DLC comes out. |

I love the music, I don't mind the reused level themes, and the special stages are probably the best in the series. Most of my negative feelings towards it come from my first playthough because it did not give me the greatest first impression. I have come to like the game more on future playthroughs, but I still remember my first time the most vividly. |
