bunch of sonic 4 episode 1 haters... you guys don't understand, the return-to-basics formula marks a huge turning point on the series' focus. the visuals are celshaded to be reminiscent of the classic series, as if it was done on a palette. the soundtrack even sounds like sonic 2 and ONLY sonic 2. not only that, the level designs are based around sonic's momentum while sonic itself offers a much more calm experience, for better introductory platformer physics. with these points in mind we can agree that episode 1 is Shit and i respect all the hate it gets.
