So basically, in the S3AIR source code ( located at sonic3air/Oxygen/sonic3air/data/audio) there're 2 folders, original & remastered, what interests us is the original one though, inside there're the Emulated Proto Music; since they're not normally present in the Final S3&K ROM ( afaik), so they have to be modded in, what surprises me though is the extension, ".SMPS" (or "Sample Music Playback System"), it appears they're Genesis Audio files, I did some digging and I found on the Sega Retro site a .XM to SMPS tool, however I don't know how I would extract those .XM files from a Genesis ROM, + I definitely don't know how to use such tools. Ok, say for example that I want to extract some Tracks from Sonic 1 Megamix (3.0), and convert them to a usable, loop-able .SMPS for S3AIR to use, how would that be?
