This is a complementary thread to the "Why does forums exist?" thread, in this time (as the title says):
Why are mods from gamebanana being deleted and moved here?
Unlike the last thread, I actually have no knowledge of why and how, maybe it's a way of protest so more people joins the forums? Maybe?
So, like last time, can anyone comment why this is happening?
I found this really funny, 'cus the people who did this are just harming themselves, lol.

because there are fewer restrictions, and it is much easier
,in gamebanana they are very strict

Other than that, you can see tons of different type of mods, so no, the first one it's false. 2- Easier? Of what I saw, the forums are much more complicated: In forums, you need to find a website to find a website for deposit the mod (like google drive), then send a link to it, and hope the download worked. In GB, you could just directly post it in the website, making it much easier. |

Probably because people only want their mods in one place (which would include having to maintain them and deal with people asking about new versions), and that a lot of forum users also seem to dislike GameBanana as a platform. Finally, the appeal of these forums comes moreso from the fact that it is, in comparison to the GameBanana page, much stricter and with a greater degree of quality control.
I'm personally still maintaining my GameBanana pages though since I honestly don't see any good reason to get rid of them.
