Yes. I do mean that. The other characters have their next text line up with their color palletes, and it looks super strange to me. and it not matching is a very specific thing that always bugged me. Please fix it. It would make this mod so much better. I'm glad you were able to understand what i meant with the mighty buff thing. The Ice Cap rocks were the only example i had. Like, I can write a better explanation rn. I'd like it if Shadow could instantly go through the breakable blocks without having his momentum stopped completely and getting sent up (like the base game characters when breaking these blocks) like how Mighty's stomp works. I was in a rush at that point in time, and I apologize for the horrible wording. Hey, here's an extra suggestion. Maybe his stomp could instantly kill the Marble Garden Spiker badniks from above like how Mighty can? That would be a nice little thing. Talking about Marble Garden, it'd be nice if we could just hold boost and instantly activate those blue things that you have to turn on with the spindash. I also noticed you can turn them on with the stomp and i think that's a great detail. Edit 1:Another thing I just thought of is that maybe Hyper Shadow could aim his air dash? I know it would be hard to implement. Just a suggestion though. Another thing that maybe would be way easier to implement and very useful could be that Hyper Shadow could turn on the Hyper Flash whenever coming full stop with a wall when boosting. Like, the moment you're in contact with the wall and it stops you completely? That moment. Maybe you could set this as a toggable in the settings menu, since maybe some could find it a bit annoying... ALSO I JUST REMEMBERED SHADOW CAN'T ESCAPE A VERY SPECIFIC POOL OF WATER IN AIZ 1 will record this in a sec. (It might be an intentional detail, but i'm gonna let you know just in case. Also, no. He can't even escape with hyper.) Edit 2:Also for some reason his life icon pallete changes when underwater? For some reason that happens with ES characters and i'm not sure if anyone can patch it. I'm gonna record gameplay of it pretty soon, so be on the lookout for that ig. I will edit this comment when I do record it in a few minutes. It's a honor to get to talk to you myself. I will reach out again if I find more bugs.

The life icon is a bmp file so it changes palettes, and is intended to happen, and I might add your suggestions (probably will), but the only problem is that each time I add new stuff, I'm afraid the mod slowly becomes detached to it's source material of Sonic 3D in 2D, since it's just a port of Shadow from that game

I think inaccuracies existing is not inherently bad, as long as it makes the game better. Like, an example. Sonic 1 2013. The game removes the speed cap by default, even though the speed cap is one of the things that characterized that game the most, and the game is a lot better thanks to that change. Sorry for taking so long to take the recordings, I have been SUPER busy irl. As I said, I’m just brainstorming ways to make this mod better, because I love Shadow and I love this mod, and I want it to be as good as it could possibly be. (Then again, you could rebrand the mod from ES 3D2D Shadow to ES Shadow. After all, the moveset from that game was completely taken from Sonic Worlds Unilimited, iirc.)

Ok thanks, but there’s also problem with Shadow’s data select screen where it shows Sonic,Tails,and Knuckles instead of Shadow could you help me with that? I will fix that by replacing it by a custom data select sprite made by mraxolotl4231, wait for an update in the meanwhile

So I finally finished a playthrough with Shadow. He seems to be missing some sprite for the ending credits. When the planes is in the distance he's invisible and then when the plane is even further back the plane itself is invisible with a tiny shadow standing on nothing.
I should add I tried removing all mods except the extra slot mods including Mighty Ray and Amy and extra save slots.

I don’t know if anybody else has commented about this but it seems that shadow’s 3d2d hyper stars option makes the transform from super to hyper mod not work with him. Also completely unrelated to that, Shadow seems to disappear from the tornado during the credits scene when they fly off into the background towards the island. If he’s below es mighty, then when they fly off even further into the background the entire tornado disappears lol. Also no hyper shadow at the very end of the credits when he jumps of the tornado and does his cool lil pose .
