So this may be a weird request but can you possibly add icons for wii remotes for button prompts? I use my wii remote to play quite a lot and I would like that to be added
Heres a list of the button prompts or something if you ever do it. It's what I reccomend anyway
Wii = Xbox 1 = A 2 = B B = X A = Y Plus = Start Minus = Back
Again. You don't have to. But I would REALLY appriciate it.
> those aren't automatically compatible it would be insanely annoying and totally not worth it to code the icons to use the rom data for those > Not a problem on my end, I had to do that and more with the old ESS ver. to make things like the ES characters display the right sprites, lol. is it really my fault if chars didnt have compatibility built in
I'm sure you probably heard about this already, but I've found some hiccups with this. I'm putting together my own ES mod (using slot 255) and I've encountered two bugs likely related to it, and one that is not:
1) It requires a sprite called "dataSel_slot0" instead of "dataSel_slot255" for the data select sprite.
2) When going downwards to choose a character, I can't get past the ES characters. Going upwards is fine, however.
3) When trying to delete a character, certain ES slots will flicker their character sprites wildly. This may be a bug with ESU, as redownloading the mod appears to fix it. Not fun for people that have epilepsy, though.

first 2 don't happen on my end at all and 3 isnt my fault
Alright, then I'll fix it myself.
Unfortunately, it seems like any ES characters that use Knux as a base seem to become Sonic/Tails saves on reload, though this only reflects in the gameplay. Tested with two different ES mods as well as with only the essential mods enabled.
EDIT: This only affects saves that are not on page 1.

I just tried this with an ES character based on Knux, on page 2, and they seemed to work fine for me. Maybe it's a problem with the mods you used?

E.S.S ERROR: what happens is that if you use page two with some extra slot
You go out, you go back in and you appear on page 2, but the extra slot looks like Sonic, you go in and for one frame you see the extra slot, the cinematic and basically it becomes Sonic, you go out and now page 1 is a copy from page 2, causing you to lose progres

Hm, here's my mod list (I've since removed the Knux ones):
My one guess is that it's the Snowboarding Knux mod, but that hasn't outright broken a save for me in my experience. I also recently played through one of the ES mods I had on page 1 and it worked just fine (with Snowboarding Knux enabled).
