Do you plan on making a built-in level editor in Sonic 3 AIR in the future, Eukaryot? It's annoying that we have to install SonLvl when we want to make level mods, and making a built-in level editor would make mobile people able to make level mods too. No, because that will be a lot of work that really does not seem worth it. Especially if trying to add mobile support as well.

Funny thing is, I actually use this mod- I was just wondering if the option for aspect ratios will be added in as a default option in the near future rather than the need for the mod I've been making a few fixes recently to make 4:3 (and also 16:10) work better. However, there's no options to switch to these resolutions yet - but that's planned eventually, probably in 2024. Ah I see. Best of luck to you on that front, and thank you for responding.

Hey uhhh... I saw in a recent test build you added Xbox/Switch/PS4 button icons for the UI. Which is awesome! But I would like to request something that should be added
Apparently for the switch controls. I would like something to be added to swap the icons for X and Y. A and B is fine because thats what is used for most games. But X and Y are swapped compared to origins or mania. Where Y is used as jump and X is to Turn Super in those games. And it kinda screws me over in Sonic 3 AIR. Is there a chance you can add something for that?

I didn't know that. I guess you learn something new every day. By the way, why is it "Unusable"? it lacks most of the objects, ring layouts, chunk layouts and basically everything that makes a level functional That make sense. So, is the layout seen in Sonic 3c Delta just a mere guess? You did do a video of it in 2021 and it looks pretty complete to me.

The stable update is out now!
This is pretty close to the preview from November, but includes a few additional fixes and improvements:
Bug fixes and improvements - Fixed navigation issues in Mods Options for very large mods - Fixed that SSZ Cutscene Knuckles resting on the button could become partially invisible - Fix for the "LargestInt out of Int range" error at startup that could be caused by certain mods - Re-enabled the HCZ 2 glitchy abyss again unless glitch fixes are set to "all" - Reworked L / R icons for touch controls
Modding - Added a few more math functions: "Math.lerp", "Math.invlerp", "Math.sqr", "Math.frac" - Added color operation functions: "Color.lerp", "Color.fromHSV", "Color.HSV.getHue", "Color.HSV.getSaturation", "Color.HSV.getValue" - Lemonscript: Allowing for whitespace / indentation before includes - Added backquote key ´ as an alternative to F11 for script reloading (especially for Macs) - Increased the limit of render items (sprites etc.) and made the limit exceed warning less obtrusive - Added "SoundTestVisibility" ("visible", "hidden", "devmode") property in audio definitions - Fixed that BUTTON_L and BUTTON_R constants definitions were swapped

While yes, I am glad a new stable release is created, I do have a suggestion in mind for the future. You know that Infinite Lives toggle in the Secrets menu? Yeah, that. It does it's job, but not it's entire job. What I mean is that, while the lives system is disabled with that option, shouldn't continues be disabled, too? I mean, zero point in having them enabled still without lives. Or at least have the game display that the player got a continue in the Blue Spheres Results Screen, but not actually give a continue to you. What do you think of that?

This is the official thread where I'll announce the latest preview and stable updates, as soon as they're ready. Also, I'll post other news from Sonic 3 A.I.R. game & engine development.
In case you're wondering what is the most recent game version, you can find the main updates for all platforms on the Sonic 3 A.I.R. Website. And in addition, for modders interested in having a look at new features early, there's the more experimental test builds (usually Windows only) on Github.
This is perfect bro (I was a shitty kid in 2022, but i changed now, i am a good person.) Anyways, i have a question, will it be possible to add more widescreen resolution support without glitches and unstable stuff ? Thank you so much Euka, for the most coolest remaster of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
